7th wave begins in Iran coronavirus epidemic
Iranian Health Minister Bahram Einullahi announced that the 7th wave has started in the COVID-19 epidemic in Iran.
In his statement, Iranian Health Minister Bahram Einullahi stated that the 7th wave of the COVID-19 epidemic started in the country and called for vaccination and wearing a mask in crowded closed spaces.
In the last 24 hours, 5 thousand 751 new cases were detected in the country, 13 people died from the virus.
The ministry stated that 516 of the new cases were in critical condition and 656 of them were hospitalized.
Since the start of the epidemic in Iran, 7 million 278 thousand 478 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19, while 141 thousand 499 people have died due to the virus.
