Pacific island reports first case of Covid-19

Micronesia, in the Pacific Ocean, became the last country to experience Covid-19 cases 2.5 years after its onset. The government reported that Covid-19 had turned into an epidemic for the first time in the country.

Authorities reported that the test of 35 people in Kosrae state was positive, and 7 cases were detected in Pohnpei state. Thus, it was recorded that Covid-19 turned into an epidemic for the first time in the country.
