Porcelain Veneer (Porcelain on Zirconium)
Zirconium-based porcelain is a type of veneer in which zirconium is used as a support under the porcelain veneer. As in other porcelain veneer applications, the aim is to correct the teeth that have lost their function or aesthetic appearance or to fill the missing teeth by supporting the side teeth.
How is Porcelain Veneer on Zirconium Made?
First, the patient’s x-rays are taken and a treatment plan is made. Then the teeth are abraded and the measurement is taken. The measurement can be taken by digital means. The measurement is sent to the laboratory, and the appropriate zirconium infrastructure is created. Then, with the arrival of the upper porcelain, the production process is completed. The incoming teeth are placed in the mouth and glued.
