Unshaven Hair Transplant (DHI)

In the unshaven hair transplantation method, which is applied without shaving the front, side and top parts of the hair, only the donor area at the back of the head is shaved. It is a method that is mostly preferred to be applied to people with long hair. The long hair ensures that the shaved part at the back of the head is camouflaged by the long hair on top.

Unshaven hair transplantation can be done with FUE or DHI hair transplantation methods. The method to be applied is determined individually as a result of the evaluation. With the FUE procedure applied in a single session, a maximum of 4 thousand hair follicles can be transplanted. In the DHI method, this number is maximum 3 thousand for a single session. It is possible to get 1 to 3 hair follicles from each hair follicle.
