Transparent plaque treatment
Transparent aligner treatment is an orthodontic application that allows the correction of disorders related to the position of the jaw and teeth, without wearing braces, by using custom-made transparent aligners with 3D printers.
How is Transparent Plaque Treatment Performed?
The patients’ teeth are scanned by a digital scanner. Weekly changes of teeth are displayed in a digital environment by preparing a simulation. After the final appearance of the teeth is approved by the patient and the physician, personalized transparent plaques are prepared with 3D printers and attached to the teeth. Transparent plaques, which can be easily attached and removed, do not create a striking image on the teeth, unlike braces. Plates are replaced at intervals to be determined by the doctor during the treatment process.
