Pandeminin Ardından Dünya Çapında Kızamık Vakaları Yüzde 80 Arttı
The United Nations (UN) announced that measles cases have increased by nearly 80 percent worldwide this year due to disruptions caused by Covid-19. It has been warned that the rise of the disease indicates that outbreaks of other diseases are likely. In a statement, the UN’s children’s agency Unicef and the World Health Organization (WHO) stated that the Corona virus pandemic has interrupted vaccination campaigns for non-Covid-19 diseases worldwide and that more than 200 million people are in danger.
Measles is a disease caused by a virus that mostly attacks children. The most serious complications include blindness, brain swelling, diarrhea and severe respiratory infections. While many countries lag far behind this target, vaccination of at least 95 percent remains the best way to prevent the spread of measles.;
