DSÖ: 11 Ülkeden 151 Salmonella Vakası Bildirildi (Salmonella Nedir, Nasıl Bulaşır?)
The World Health Organization, in a statement, stated that the Salmonella infection, called “monophasic Salmonella Typhimurium sequence type 34”, originated from a chocolate production facility in Belgium as a result of the investigation, and 151 cases have been reported from 11 countries to date.
The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that the mentioned chocolate products were distributed to 113 countries and that the products were started to be recalled by the International Network of Food Safety Authorities (INFOSAN) on April 10.
The WHO stated that the UK informed them about Salmonella infection for the first time on 27 March and that the evidence was based on a chocolate product produced in Belgium as of 25 April.
